Aisle seats, rows near the front or extra legroom where the fare allows.
Extra time to board and settle in, where the airline offers it.
We check each airline's rules for CPAP machines and portable oxygen before you book.
Diabetic, low-sodium and other meal requests on flights that serve meals.
Book for parents or grandparents and get the confirmation sent to you both.
Assistance is provided by the airline and airport. We recommend confirming your requests with the airline about 48 hours before departure. For help at security, TSA Cares can be contacted at least 72 hours before you fly.
Senior fares — the honest answer
Some airlines offer senior fares on certain routes, usually for travelers 65+. Most do not publish one. We check for your trip.
A regular sale fare, a different day or a nearby airport is often the better value. We compare them side by side.
Change rules, bags and seat selection can matter more than a small fare difference. We explain it all before you decide.

FAQs
Most US airlines no longer publish a general senior discount. A few airlines offer senior fares on some routes, usually for travelers 65 and older, and the rules and availability vary. When you call, we check whether a senior fare exists for your trip and compare it with regular fares — sometimes a regular sale fare is the better value — and tell you honestly which is lower.
Yes. We can add a wheelchair or mobility-assistance request to your booking, from check-in to the gate and from the plane to baggage claim, including help at connections. The service itself is provided by the airline and airport at no charge under US rules. We recommend confirming with the airline about 48 hours before you fly.
Yes — many of our callers book for a parent or grandparent. We'll need each traveler's full name exactly as it appears on their ID, date of birth and contact details. You can be the contact for the booking, and we'll send the confirmation to you and to them if you like.
Medications can go in your carry-on bag, and medical devices such as CPAP machines generally don't count toward your carry-on allowance. Portable oxygen concentrators must be FAA-approved and each airline has its own notice and battery requirements, so tell us when you book and we'll check the airline's rules for your flights.
Adults need a REAL ID–compliant driver's license or state ID, a US passport, or another TSA-accepted ID for domestic flights. For international trips you'll need a valid passport, and some countries require it to be valid for several months after travel. We'll remind you of the requirements for your trip.
No. Travel FareX is an independent travel agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any airline. Airline services such as wheelchair assistance and pre-boarding are provided by the airline and airports; we request them on your behalf.
If you booked with Travel FareX, yes — call us and we'll help. If you booked directly with the airline or another agency, please contact them for changes, cancellations, baggage and check-in. We can only help with new bookings.
Quotes are free with no obligation. If a service fee applies to your booking, we tell you the amount before you confirm, along with the airline's fare and taxes.
