Travel Tips
November through March is the southern hemisphere summer and the best window for trekking, with long daylight hours. Shoulder months (October, April) are quieter but colder and windier.
Most custom itineraries run 8–12 days given the distances between parks. A week focuses on one park (Torres del Paine or El Calafate); ten days or more lets you combine both the Chilean and Argentine sides.
Trails range from easy day walks to demanding multi-day treks like the W Circuit — your specialist will match the itinerary to your fitness level and can arrange porter or refugio support for longer treks.
Torres del Paine (Chile) and El Calafate/El Chaltén (Argentina) are both classic stops and easily combined on a single trip. Your specialist will map the border crossing and logistics for you.
