Travel Tips
November through February is the dry, cool season and the most popular time to visit — ideal for both the islands and the north. March through May is hot; June through October brings monsoon rain in most regions.
Most custom itineraries run 8–12 days. A week covers Bangkok and one island group; ten days to two weeks lets you add Chiang Mai in the north.
Many nationalities, including U.S. passport holders, can enter visa-free for tourism for a set number of days. Requirements change periodically, so your specialist will confirm current entry rules for your passport before you book.
Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and one southern island (Phuket or Krabi) give you city, culture, and beach in one trip. Your specialist can adjust the mix based on how much time you have.
