No. Travel FareX is an independent travel agency. We are not Thrifty and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Thrifty. We help you compare and book rental cars — including Thrifty where available — and your rental is provided by the rental company under its own terms.

Generally a valid driver's license in the renter's name and a major credit card in the same name. Some locations accept debit cards with extra requirements. International renters may also need a passport and, in some cases, an International Driving Permit. We'll confirm the exact requirements for your pickup location before you book.

In most US locations the minimum age is 21, and drivers under 25 usually pay a young-driver surcharge. Rules vary by company, location and car class, so we check this for you when quoting.

Yes. Our specialists can add a car to a trip you're planning with us, or book it on its own — airport pickups, one-way rentals and longer rentals included.

Basic rental rates usually don't include optional coverage such as collision damage waivers or supplemental liability. Your own auto policy or credit card may already cover you. We'll explain the options so you only pay for what you need.
